It’s time for your second Veto competition. The 7 members of Andraste will all be competing. HOH Sheila has nominated Eric and Keesha for eviction, but the winner of tonight’s competition will have the power to save one of the nominees if they see fit.
Tonight’s competition is called “You Can Quote Me on That!”
After a hard day’s work, Chelsia from Big Brother Warzone 1 went to her local comic book store and purchased the latest edition of the Big Brother Warzone Funnies. After getting home, she threw off her shoes, kicked back her feet, and got settled on the sofa to relax and enjoy her comic book. Imagine her surprise when she opened the comic book to the first page to see that there was no text! All the speech bubbles had been left completely blank.
Chelsia is pissed off, and she needs your help. Below is the first page of her comic book. From left to right, top to bottom, we have Renny (BB10), Dan (BB10), James (BB6 and 7), Sheila (BB9), Amy (BB3), and Dick (BB8).
You must fill in the speech bubbles with a quote said by each of these contestants during their season. You will solve the puzzles below to get the quotes. After you find a quote, you must figure out which of the 6 houseguests made that quote. Then use an image editing program (paint, PSP, photoshop, etc.) and type the quote in their speech bubble.
Once you have solved all 6 quotes and typed them in the speech bubbles, you will upload the completed comic page (to www.tinypic.com, photobucket, imageshack, etc.) and give me the link to the image in PM.
You can earn a total of 6 points. You will receive a point for each quote you type in the correct speech bubble. For it to count, the spelling and punctuation (commas, periods, apostrophes, etc.) must match the spelling/punctuation in the puzzle. The first person to submit all the correct answers or the person who gets the most points by the deadline will win the Golden Power of Veto this round. This competition is due tomorrow at 8 PM EST, but I will reveal results early if someone wins before then.
The Puzzles[/u]
To solve a tile puzzle, rearrange the tiles below so that they form a phrase.
A fallen phrase puzzle shows the spaces for a statement or phrase. The letters are directly below the column in which they will fit, but jumbled within the column.
A cryptogram is a phrase in code or cipher. Each letter has been substituted with a number. Here are some hints:
-Look for common letter combinations, like "TH" and "SH".
-Short words can sometimes be guessed, because there are only so many possibilities.
