To be honest, this week has been a complete mess for me. It started off well enough as Lori, the person that I voted to evict, was evicted from the house, but after that it just sort of went downhill from there. I tried to coordinate my team to ensure victory in the Head of Household competition, but that seemed to go completely awry. I only got a single flag in the competition -- Natalie's -- and the only reason that happened is because we switched passwords to our forts shortly after the game began, though we tried to be careful to ensure our alliance wasn't picked up on by anyone. Still, Sheila won Head of Household with an astounding number of flags, which makes me wonder if she did something similar to me and had members of her former team give her their passwords in advance, especially because she managed to rack up so many flags so quickly.
As soon as I heard that Sheila won the Head of Household, I basically expected to be nominated considering we haven't really formed as strong of a bond as I would have liked. I told Sheila beforehand that I would be totally okay if she nominated me, and even though I didn't really want her to (obviously) I was still put up on the block for eviction. My saving grace is probably the fact that I am up against Keesha. Although I liked Keesha before we even spoke, Keesha has turned into a hotbed of controversy among everyone on my team and I will really feel like a dumbass if my HouseGuests vote to evict me instead of her. Nathan, Parker, and Jun have all assured me that they are voting for me to stay, but as a fan of Big Brother I know that the "pawn," or person that isn't intended to leave the house, often ends up walking out the front door instead of the person they are up against.
The Power of Veto competition certainly did not help matters either. I tried my absolute hardest on the competition and was likely minutes away from winning, but lack of confidence in one of my answers led me to losing the competition to -- surprise -- Sheila. At this point, Sheila has way too much power, and even though we seem to be cool with each other I think I will have to nominate her should I become Head of Household next week -- assuming that I make it to that point.
Basically, if I managed to evade eviction and the discharge that Sheila is allowed, this will be nothing short of a Big Brother miracle. For once, I am glad that someone else created such a controversy, because otherwise it would likely be my ass sitting in the chair outside of the house being interviewed by Chelsbot, and I really feel like this game is just getting started and I am not ready to leave just yet. At this point, all of my faith is in Nathan, Parker, and Jun, so I just hope that I didn't screw up so much somewhere along the line that they would vote to evict Keesha over me.
What a clusterfuck.
Note: Sorry this diary room isn't as good as last week's -- it kind of crept up on me, to be honest. If I make it through the week I promise to be more thorough!
