Houseguests, the power is up for grabs—for one last time. This Competition will be played in 3 parts. The winner of Round 1 automatically advances to Round 3, leaving the remaining 2 houseguests to compete against each other in Round 2. The winners of Rounds 1 and 2 will then face off against one another in Round 3 to determine who will be the final and most powerful HOH. This HOH is not only guaranteed a spot in the final 2, but he or she will get to choose who sits next to them in the Final 2.
Tonight we will begin with Part 1: a competition called "Crash and Burn."
The 3 of you will each be piloting a fighter jet through enemy territory. Your goal is to stay in the air as long as you can before being shot down by enemy missiles.
Every 5 minutes, a missile will be fired in your direction, and you must post making a maneuver to dodge the attack. You will make your posts in your own personal board at the top of the forum. You will not know how anyone but yourself is performing in the Competition, because post counts have been disabled for all 3 of your boards. You may start at any time you like, but it must be exactly 5 minutes between each post.
You will alternate between the following 3 maneuvers, in order: a dive, a barrel roll, and the Split S maneuver. So if you began at 10:00, your first 3 posts would look like this:
10:00 [Your Houseguest] dives to avoid attack.
10:05 [Your Houseguest] performs a barrel roll.
10:10 [Your Houseguest] performs the Split S maneuver.
At 10:15, you would once again post "[Your Houseguest] dives to avoid attack," at 10:20, you would post "[Your Houseguest] performs a barrel roll," and so on, for as long as you can post. When you are no longer able to post, your plane will be shot down. Pay attention to the board time, because it may be different than the time on your computer.
You are not allowed to edit or delete posts. If you post at the wrong time, miss a time, post twice at a specific time, edit/delete a post, or post the wrong maneuver/post a maneuver incorrectly, your plane will crash and you will be out of the game. You each only have one attempt at this Competition.
The deadline for this competition is tomorrow at 9 PM EST. The Houseguest who manages to stay in the air for the longest amount of time will win Part 1 and will advance to Part 3. In the event of a tie, the first Houseguest to complete the Competition will win.
Good luck, Houseguests.
