Welcome to New York's Upper East Side, a place where the only thing bigger than the trust funds of the people who live here are the scandals said people become involved in. It's a world full of glamour and decadence but also of friendship and betrayal. It's a place where relationships thrive and struggle to stay alive. But most importantly, it's a place where people talk, gossiping about the latest misfortunes of their neighbors as well as their own good fortune. This is a place where for every person, there is a scandal . . . because in the Upper East Side, you're nobody until you're talked about.

In short, it’s the perfect setting for a game of BIG BROTHER. This summer, 14 HouseGuests will be thrust into New York City’s Upper East Side in order to compete in the ultimate power struggle as they fight to become the last person remaining. In addition to the standard Head of Household and Power of Veto competitions that have become a hallmark of Big Brother US, BIG BROTHER [gossip edition]: THE SUMMER OF SCANDAL is filled with twists and turns that make it unlike any other game of BIG BROTHER ever played.

Please note that BIG BROTHER [gossip edition]: THE SUMMER OF SCANDAL is a game of Big Brother which draws inspiration from The CW television series GOSSIP GIRL, but familiarity/prior knowledge of Gossip Girl or interest in the show will not factor into the game at all. I just believe that the show's setting is a perfect backdrop for an edition of BIG BROTHER and have mostly just incorporated elements of said setting into the challenges, etc. to make things more interesting.
